On my way to my friend’s house Bridget like all ways when noticed a strange couch so i went to investigate and then I fell …

slipping further down the light edging away from me my life flashing in front of my eyes then I hit the floor and stumbling to my feet i slipped and hit my head  and i was never seen again.

Hi Katherine and thank you for entering the 100 WC this week. I can see that you have used a capital letter when you have written Bridget’s name, so that’s good (it looks like it was a target you set yourself at the top of your writing?). I like how you’ve used ellipsis …. to create some suspense in your writing. If you practise using it, you will find it easier to weave it in. I like the words you have used like ‘stumbling’, ‘edging’, ‘investigate’, ‘flashing’- these all add interest to your writing. For next time, I would say to make sure you use all 100 words because you only used about 64 this time. One hundred isn’t many at all when you are telling a story, so don’t throw any away! Good luck and keep writing!

Thank you for sharing your story with us,. You hit your target of the capital letter for the name, but make sure you you remember to use capitals for the I.

    Well done.

    Hi Katherine,

What an interesting way to weave in the images in the prompt. I liked some of the descriptive words you use because they helped the reader imagine what was happening.

I did wish you had read over your work to see if it made sense, because there were parts that weren’t clear to me. Periods and capital letters in the right places really make a difference.
