Today in maths we were measuring shapes (rectangle, trapezium and hexagon) and finding the perimeter of these listed shapes . They also had turtles on them . To find the perimiter you need to measure the sides with a ruler or a metre stick and then add them together. This blog was recorded on the 1st of February 2017 by Charlie and Sophie

Before Christmas , year six planned a Christmas gathering for members of our local community and grandparents . They planned the menu, ordered the food, designed the decorations, provided the entertainment and made the buffet food. The children collaborated to provide a fun filled afternoon for our guests . The afternoon was a huge success . A big thank you to the musical entertainment provided by the children and to year 3 who performed some of their performance poetry.
