Before Christmas , year six planned a Christmas gathering for members of our local community and grandparents . They planned the menu, ordered the food, designed the decorations, provided the entertainment and made the buffet food. The children collaborated to provide a fun filled afternoon for our guests . The afternoon was a huge success . A big thank you to the musical entertainment provided by the children and to year 3 who performed some of their performance poetry.

This lesson we were all writing a non chronological report about children in the Victoian age. I really enjoyed this lesson because I learnt lots about Queen Victoria. I also learnt lots about rich and poor children and how they lived. The most interesting fact that I learnt was that Queen Victoria was also the ruler of many other lands  such as: Australia,  New Zealand, Canada,  Jamaica and South Africa.

I am also proud of my handwriting and have now got a pen licence!
